COVID rapid test is a laboratory test that can identify the virus that causes COVID-19. This test is intended for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2. It makes use of Real-Time Reverse Transcriptase (RT)-PCR Diagnostic Panels.

A confirmatory PCR test may be recommended if you are detected with the virus symptoms and have a negative COVID rapid test result.
If you are testing because you have been exposed to someone who is a confirmed COVID-19 positive patient, you should wait 5 days from the date of exposure before you are tested to avoid false results.
